A Town of Plymouth employee was flown to Greenville Friday morning after his work truck was struck by a second pickup traveling in the wrong lane on US Hwy 64 West near Brinkley Place about 8:30 a.m. According to police, Bryan Brooks was entrapped briefly and then flown out with suspected spinal injuries after first responders cut the roof off his pickup to free him from the cab. Town of Plymouth officials report Brooks was released from the hospital the following day with no broken bones or internal injuries. The driver of the second vehicle reportedly suffered a medical emergency and was taken to Washington Regional Medical Center. (Staff photo by Dale Heberlig)
