A dozen local residents shared ideas for Plymouth’s December Christmas Parade in a meeting last week, cementing plans for the December procession and the days leading up to Christmas.
This year’s parade is slated to march at 5:30 p.m., Thursday, December 12, after forming at Washington County High School on Main Street. However, formation of the march remains in flux as organizers seek to attract greater participation from the community and its churches.
Several pastors of local churches were on hand at last week’s meeting to offer support and Parade Committee Chairman Stephanie Simpson said she continues difficult efforts to find bands willing to participate Mayor Brian Roth said there is a chance the US Army 82nd Airborne Band will perform.
