From the small town of Creswell to the heart of Columbia, Hollie P. Wilson's dedication to helping others navigate life's uncertainties has fueled her career in insurance.
As a CISR Elite-certified insurance agent at Weatherly Insurance Agency, Wilson's expertise and commitment to excellence have earned her a solid reputation as a trusted advisor who empowers individuals and families to protect their futures.
With decades of experience and a passion for personalized service, Wilson has built a legacy of care, empathy and compassion in the all too often complex world of property and casualty insurance.
The daughter of David Phelps and Rena Pierce, Wilson graduated from Creswell High School in 2000 and decided to forgo higher education in the short term after becoming a new mother.
Despite her current day passion for the business, Wilson says that a career in insurance was not something she envisioned.
“Getting into insurance was not at all what I imagined,” she says. “I actually got pregnant with my son in high school and I felt it was more important to stay at home with him at that time. So that’s what I did for a little while.”
Following this relative period of bliss, Wilson decided that it was time to jump back into the workforce and begin anew.
In short order, she joined the Washington County Sheriff’s Office, becoming a familiar face as its assistant secretary. For the next two years she worked in this capacity while also looking towards her next big opportunity. During this time, she turned her attention towards the world of insurance and set about obtaining what she needed to join it in earnest.
“I really like helping people,” she says proudly. “It seemed like a good way to do that and make a decent living at it...”
