Social worker and entrepreneur Tunora Bell orchestrated a special community event that fed the body and the spirit of visitors at Plymouth’s Willie Cooper Building.
Specifically, the special Sunday afternoon gathering officially introduced her nonprofit “I Am Better Now Foundation,” to those that gathered for an afternoon bite to eat.
It was also a time to pay homage to the memory of Bell’s deceased friend, Nicole Davis, who played an instrumental role in the underpinnings of the foundation and the conference.
“Everyone knew Nicole. She was a giver. She would literally give you the shirt off of her back. If she had it, you would have it. And if she didn’t have it, she would make a way so that you could get it,” Bell said proudly...
