Varra ‘Vera’ Marie Nixon

Ms. Varra "Vera" Marie Nixon, 63, of Roper, died Saturday, February 22, 2025, at Sentara Albemarle Hospital, Elizabeth City.

Bishop Daniel Gilliam was eulogist for a service held Saturday March 1, at New Bethel Church of Christ. Burial followed in New Bethel Church Cemetery.

The family received friends one hour prior to service.

Toodle’s Funeral Home, Plymouth, assisted the family with arrangements.
