“We’ve always wanted to build a community playground. It was one of the dreams that the late Selander Simpson had since we started our youth center,” Sanders said. “When we stood on this land back in 2017, not knowing who owned it, how to get it or what to do, we prayed and visualized a S.I.M.P. playground with swing sets, slides, ladders, climbers…we went back to that land in 2023 and God had worked it all out. All we had to do was be in position...”
